About the Cantata

The Cantata is a three-way, full-range loudspeaker featuring a centrally-located 1-inch soft-dome Vifa tweeter, two over/under-mounted 6.5-inch Vifa midrange/bass drivers, and a potent 10-inch Scanspeak woofer mounted downward near the floor. This configuration allows for a wide, open soundstage and deep, articulate bass. The speaker uses a first-order crossover network between the tweeter and midrange drivers, with the mid/bass drivers running full bandwidth, contributing to the speaker's phase-coherent performance. The downward-firing woofer enables a narrower front baffle and smoother in-room bass integration. The Cantata is designed for use in moderate to large listening rooms and is praised for its dynamic range and ability to handle both music and home theater content at high volumes without distortion.
