The Burmester B38 is the largest model in Burmester's B-Series, offering a slim, timeless design that integrates seamlessly into any living environment. It employs a 3-way bass reflex configuration with a side-firing 32 cm woofer for powerful, impulsive bass, a 17 cm fiberglass midrange driver optimized for short attack and decay times, and a custom Burmester/AMT folded diaphragm tweeter for outstanding clarity, transparency, speed, and a wide sweet spot up to 33 kHz. The cabinet features double-layered sidewalls with stainless steel reinforcement, FEA-optimized internal bracing, and a computer-calculated spring-mass damping system for floor decoupling. Room adaptation includes a two-stage bass roll-off switch (1-3 dB from 150-37 Hz) and foam port inserts. Supports bi-amping/bi-wiring with gold-plated OFC terminals. Finishes: Black Matt, White Matt, American Walnut, Mid Grey. Currently manufactured.
