About the BA31

The Burmester Ambience BA31 loudspeaker is a derivative of the larger BA71 model, incorporating its advances in a more compact, well-balanced 2.5-way design. It features dual Air Motion Transformer tweeters (front-firing and rear-firing) and 170mm glass fibre paper cone drivers for both midrange and bass, delivering deep bass, excellent speech intelligibility and high resolution of musical detail across a wide frequency range. With a nominal load capacity of 200W, a sensitivity of 87dB (2.83V/1m) and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, the BA31 offers powerful yet controlled performance and an adjustable soundstage via its rear ambience tweeter, making it adaptable to both smaller and larger listening rooms. Its elegantly curved, high-gloss cabinet and slim floorstanding form allow it to integrate harmoniously into modern living spaces.
