The Burmester 111 Musiccenter is a reference-class all-in-one digital hub combining a music server, streamer, CD player, CD ripper, DAC, and fully featured analog preamplifier in a single chassis. The analog preamp section uses fully balanced, DC-coupled circuitry derived from Burmester's reference preamplifiers and can serve as the main control center of an entire system. Three balanced XLR analog inputs and six digital inputs (3x RCA, 3x TOSLINK) provide extensive connectivity for external sources, while balanced and single-ended outputs plus a headphone jack enable flexible system integration. The internal server section offers mirrored storage on dual drives and SSD system storage, supports common lossless and lossy formats including FLAC, WAV, and MP3, and operates as a UPnP network server with Tidal, Qobuz, and internet radio integration. A high-resolution 7-inch front display, Burmester's dedicated iPad app, web interface, and conventional remote control make daily operation intuitive. Built with a rigid two-chamber construction that galvanically and mechanically isolates the analog stages from the digital section.
