The Basis Audio Inspiration Turntable is a culmination of A.J. Conti's over 27 years of turntable design experience, offering a transformative listening experience with qualities such as dead-quiet background, flawless pitch stability, wide dynamics, and crisp transients. It features a belt-drive system with vacuum record hold-down to ensure perfect record flatness and resonance control. The turntable includes a large hybrid platter made of a precision machined record mat and proprietary alloy body to minimize resonance and maintain superior speed stability. It is equipped with the Synchro-Wave power supply providing smooth motor operation and selectable speeds of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. The system also incorporates a cable-support system to isolate vibration from cables, enhancing overall isolation. The Inspiration weighs 100 lbs and measures 17.7" x 12" x 16.75". It is often bundled with the Vector 4 Tonearm and vacuum system, delivering a sublime analog playback experience with industry-leading wow and flutter of 0.01% and speed drift of 0.012%.
