About the Mini Basis Exclusive HV
The Mini Basis Exclusive HV is a phono preamplifier for moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges. Its HV version uses 40 V capacitors and a chassis approximately 2 cm taller than the standard Mini Basis Exclusive. Cartridge compatibility is configured with internal DIP switches for gain, input resistance and capacitance. The unit has RCA input and output connections; a balanced XLR output and upgraded WBT nextgen RCA sockets are optional. It uses a 72 VA transformer and a low-resonance, slightly transparent acrylic enclosure.
