The Aric Audio Special 6SN7 Linestage is a hand-built tube preamplifier designed for audiophiles seeking exceptional sound quality. It features a toroidal power transformer for extremely low self-noise, a 5U4GB tube rectifier, two OD3 tube regulators, Miflex copper foil coupling capacitors, Vishay resistors, and an all-film capacitor power supply to ensure reliable power delivery with excellent bandwidth and beautiful tonality. The input stage is direct-coupled to the cathode-follower output stage, resulting in very low distortion and superb linearity. It offers 4 sets of stereo inputs and 2 parallel sets of outputs with a 5-position variable output level control (up to 20 dB). The chassis is fully hand-built from walnut with aluminum top and bottom plates and copper lining, and all internal wiring is 100% copper. Gold-plated ceramic tube sockets and Neutrik RCA jacks are used for high-quality connections. The unit includes a Khozmo 64-step relay-based remote volume controller. Upgrades are available for coupling capacitors and resistors.
