About the Pallene

The Aesthetix Pallene is a hybrid line-stage preamplifier that uses a tube input/gain stage (one 6DJ8/6922 per channel) with a solid-state output stage, combining the sonic character of valves with the drive and control of transistors. Designed as the control center of a high-performance system, it provides five line-level inputs on RCA or XLR, a precision 88-step switched-resistor volume control, and balanced and single-ended preamp outputs. The Pallene is fully balanced and zero-feedback, and offers optional plug-in phono and DAC modules for system expansion, plus a front-panel 1/4" headphone output, giving it substantial flexibility for both speakers and headphones. Available in black or silver and hand-built to Aesthetix's Saturn-series standards, it is aimed at listeners who prioritize transparency, musicality, and upgradeable versatility in a modern analog and digital audio system.
