The Concert Fidelity CF-080LSX2 is a hybrid line stage preamplifier designed by Tsuda san, featuring a solid-state input stage and a pair of 12AU7 dual triode tubes per channel in cascade mode for gain, along with a 6CA4 rectifier tube. It employs Direct Signal Path Technology, minimizing the signal path to only four to five inches and avoiding mechanical switches or connecting wires to preserve signal integrity. The volume control is an electronic analog solid-state design developed in-house for superior sonic quality. The preamplifier offers selectable gain settings of 6dB or 12dB, four line-level RCA inputs, and one line-level RCA output. Tubes are easily accessible for tube rolling. It is highly regarded for its sound quality and considered a true reference product in its class.
