Trio (Kenwood) is a historic brand associated with Kenwood Corporation, a Japanese electronics company. Originally founded in 1946 as Kasuga Radio Co. Ltd., it was renamed Trio Corporation in 1960. Trio's products were renowned for their high quality, particularly in amateur radio and audio equipment. In 1986, Trio acquired Kenwood and rebranded as Kenwood Corporation. Today, Kenwood products include a wide range of electronics, but the Trio name is largely historical.
