KR Audio, based in Prague, Czech Republic, is renowned for its production of high-end, hand-crafted vacuum tube amplifiers and audio equipment. Founded in 1992 by Dr. Riccardo Kron and Dr. Eunice Kron, the company is a world leader in low-frequency power triodes, notably inventing the famous Kronzilla amplifiers and the KR T-1610 tube—the largest and most powerful audio tube ever made. All KR Audio products feature meticulous artisan craftsmanship, with each glass tube hand-blown and no automatic manufacturing lines used. KR Audio currently manufactures 15 different amplifier models and 12 tube models, all acclaimed for their musicality, dynamic sound, and lifelike imaging.
