H.J. Leak & Co. Ltd, commonly known as LEAK, is a historic British hi-fi audio brand founded in London in 1934 by Harold Joseph Leak. The company became renowned for pioneering high-fidelity audio amplifiers, loudspeakers (notably the LEAK Sandwich), pickups, and turntables throughout the 1950s and 1960s. LEAK's commitment to innovation included the development of the 'Point One' amplifier, recognized for lowering harmonic distortion below 0.1%. After ceasing production in the late 1970s due to increasing international competition, the brand experienced a long dormancy. LEAK was revived in 2020 under the IAG Group, continuing its tradition of combining vintage design with modern hi-fi technology.
