Grundig is a historic consumer electronics and home appliances brand, originally founded in 1945 in Germany by Max Grundig and renowned for its pivotal role in postwar European radio, Hi-Fi, and television innovation. At its peak in the 1970s, Grundig was a global leader in audio and broadcast technology, with a workforce of nearly 38,000 and a presence in over 30 factories worldwide. Since 2007, Grundig has been owned by Arçelik A.Ş.—part of the Turkish conglomerate Koç Holding—and now operates as a premium brand offering home appliances and electronics, celebrated for quality engineering, reliability, and sustainable, people-first design.
