Exogal was a high-end audio brand founded in 2013 by former Wadia Digital engineers, including chief technology officer Jim Kinne. The company was dedicated to reimagining digital audio technology, creating aesthetically appealing, high-performing digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and amplifiers like the Comet and Ion. Exogal aimed to provide extraordinary sound quality at accessible prices, emphasizing modern design and smartphone integration. In early 2022, Exogal ceased operations due to sustained supply chain challenges and the global chip shortage, making it one of the many specialized audio companies impacted by the pandemic-era component crisis.
