Blair Chapman is a one-person, Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas-based designer and builder of custom tube preamplifiers, sold directly and through the used-audio marketplace rather than through retail. His output includes Aikido-topology designs (a low-distortion tube gain stage) built around 12AU7 and 12SN7 tubes, along with SRPP and other custom circuits, each hand-built to order rather than mass-produced.
