Amcron is the export brand name used by Crown Audio, an American manufacturer renowned for its professional audio power amplifiers and related electronics. The Amcron branding was adopted primarily for markets outside the United States, notably in Europe and the UK, to avoid conflicts with other brands named 'Crown.' Amcron products are functionally identical to Crown-branded amplifiers and are part of the Harman International Industries group, which is now a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics. The Amcron label is mostly found on legacy products, as the Crown brand is now used globally.
