This is an entry-tier system built on one discipline: a playback chain is only as good as its least-resolving link, and the most musical result comes from matching components that complement each other rather than from spending the most money. Every choice here serves a neutral, source-first streaming setup that can be lived with for years and upgraded one box at a time. The Bluesound NODE handles streaming and digital-to-analog conversion, decoding hi-res files up to 24-bit/192kHz over the network through BluOS, with native Tidal, Qobuz, and Roon support.
