The Zu Audio Submission 6 is a premium subwoofer system engineered to deliver compelling very deep bass (14-40 Hz) for systems lacking weight and detail in the low end. It complements large monitors or floorstanders with good mid-bass but insufficient sub-40Hz extension. Housed in a 50-inch tall sealed enclosure, it uses a medium compliance design where restorative forces are shared between the driver's suspension and cabinet air. The internal Zu Submission Subwoofer Amp Series 6 employs a Hypex UcD 400 module, machined aluminum casing for vibration isolation, and versatile inputs including summing RCA line-level (L/R and sub), speaker-level via 5-way posts (Lundahl transformer-coupled for high-efficiency speakers), with tunability via low-pass filter, parametric EQ, PEQ gain, phase, and DSP bypass. Ideal for music and home theater, it couples effectively to the room via its tall cabinet mass.
