Zu Audio Libtec loudspeaker cable, despite its humble size, is engineered as a high conductance solution complementing diverse hi-fi and studio loudspeaker/amplifier pairings, from low-power vacuum tube setups with high-efficiency speakers to high-current systems. It delivers linear and uniform tone response without hiding system issues or introducing unwanted character. Libtec employs ZuB3 E&M cable design for reduced noise, improved bandwidth, and linearity of capacitive and inductive reactance via revised conductive circuits and dielectrics. It is directional (amp to speaker, logo readable), requires approximately 400 hours of burn-in with preferred music genres like rock or full orchestra, and uses Teflon insulation contributing to slow burn-in. Maintenance involves annual copper spade cleaning with non-acid methods like alcohol or Brasso. Originally introduced after Wax in 2001, manufactured across Zu facilities with consistent design.
