The Omen Mk.I-B is a high efficiency, high output, direct radiating floor-standing loudspeaker designed and made by Zu Audio in Ogden, Utah, USA. It features Zu's full-range nanotech driver (Zu103ND/G1-16) with a high-output motor assembly, 16 ohm magnetically neutral-hung voice coils, and paper-cored nanotech cones. The speaker uses ZuGriewe driver/box/room acoustic loading technology and has no crossover or filters on the full-range drivers. It is complemented by a dynamic tweeter with a phenolic-composite dome and machined 6061-T651 billet lens, providing acoustic sparkle and resolution from 10 kHz and up. The Omen Mk.I-B delivers 100 dB SPL sensitivity at 1 watt/1 meter, has an 8 ohm nominal impedance, and covers a bandwidth from 30 Hz to 25 kHz. It measures 47 x 12 x 12 inches (119.4 x 30.5 x 30.5 cm), weighs 78 pounds (36 kg) each, and is shipped in a FlexPak box weighing 84 pounds (38 kg). The loudspeaker is known for its resolution of bass, mids, and treble, dynamic handling, and tonal texture. It can be identified by the REVISION-B nameplate on the back and engraved model identification on the drivers' center cone. The product is no longer in production but upgrade kits are available from Zu Audio.
