The Omen Bookshelf Mk.I-B is a direct radiating bookshelf loudspeaker from Zu Audio, featuring a 10-inch nanotech sanctified composite paper cored full-range driver and a composite dome tweeter that adds sparkle from 12kHz and up. It has a high efficiency of 98 dB SPL at 1W/1m and a nominal impedance of 12 ohms, making it easy to drive with a wide range of amplifiers from 4 to 200 watts. The cabinet is constructed from solid MDF with real wood veneer finishes available, including Ghost Black, Honey Walnut, and Sangria Red, with custom finishes offered at extra cost. The speaker measures 18 inches tall by 12 inches wide and 12 inches deep, weighing 35 pounds each. It delivers a frequency response from 50 Hz to 25 kHz and is designed to provide articulate, smooth, and largely uncolored midrange with remarkable speed and clarity across the spectrum. The Omen Bookshelf Mk.I-B is capable of surprising bass for its size, though a subwoofer is recommended for full-range performance. It is made in Ogden, Utah, USA, and is sold direct by Zu Audio.
