About the Leto 1.5

The Zesto Audio Leto 1.5 is an upgraded version of the original Leto preamplifier, handcrafted in Southern California. It offers improvements in highs, mids, and bass with enhanced definition and neutrality. The 1.5 version removes the balance control for a purer signal path and adds a built-in headphone amplifier that can be used without additional equipment. It supports a theater mode volume setting for integration with surround sound systems. The preamp uses electromechanical switching for input selection to preserve musical detail and features true floating transformer balanced inputs and outputs for lower noise and isolation between components. It includes left and right ground switches for output grounding control, recessed gold-plated RCA and XLR connectors, and a remote control for volume, mute, and mono functions. The enclosure is made of 16 gauge zinc plated steel to reduce electronic interference. Each unit undergoes a 50-hour factory burn-in and uses high-quality vacuum tubes (two JJ ECC83S/12AX7 inputs and two JJ ECC82/12AU7 outputs). The Leto 1.5 is designed to be compatible with tube, solid state, or digital systems and supports both single-ended and balanced inputs and outputs.
