The Zesto Audio Andros II Phonostage is a premium all-tube phono preamplifier designed to deliver exceptional sound quality with enhanced dynamic range and clarity. It features Zesto's new ESP (Energy Source Power) supply, which uses a toroidal transformer to reduce noise and increase power headroom, resulting in a more dynamic and detailed musical presentation. The ESP supply increases high voltage from 250V to 300V, improves dynamic range from 2 dBV to 11 dBV, and lowers noise levels by 5 dBV, enhancing black levels and overall sound purity. The phonostage supports both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges with gains of 47 dB and 67 dB respectively, and offers multiple MC load impedance settings for optimal cartridge matching. It uses four gold pin JJ ECC83S/12AX7 tubes and features high-quality gold-plated RCA connectors with isolated grounds. The unit is hand-built in the USA and housed in a 17" x 12" x 5" chassis weighing 20 lbs. It consumes 24W of power and includes a convenient front ON/OFF switch.
