The Zellaton Plural Evo is a meticulously engineered 3-way floor-standing loudspeaker system designed to deliver natural tonality, realism, and exceptional soundstage. It features a 1.1-inch soft dome tweeter, a 7-inch full-cone midrange driver used as a widebander covering roughly 90 Hz to 7,500 Hz, and two 11-inch full-cone woofers handling the low octaves. The woofers are open to the floor, allowing better integration into smaller rooms and enabling placement closer to walls. The crossover design eliminates phase shifting by tuning the drivers themselves, using high-quality Duelund CAST capacitors and copper coils, with all internal wiring hardwired and Mundorf M-Connect silver-plated copper binding posts. The speakers come with two pairs of rectangular foam pieces to tune the sound to the room, offering options for a more precise or fuller sound. The Plural Evo weighs 209 pounds each and measures 50" high, 13" wide, and 21" deep. It has an impedance of 4 ohms, a frequency response from 23 Hz to 34 kHz, and a sensitivity of 92 dB/1W/m. The design emphasizes fast, clean leading edges, extended highs free of grain, and a fully integrated, fast, and controlled bass that blends seamlessly with the music. The speakers are handmade with extraordinary attention to detail, representing a balance of high output and cost efficiency while maintaining Zellaton's signature sound quality.
