The Balanced A2 Plus from YS Audio is a high-end tube preamplifier designed with a fully balanced gain stage. Each channel uses two 12AU7 tubes and one 5687WB vacuum tube to achieve zero negative feedback (0 NFB), ensuring a pure and transparent sound. It includes multiple inputs and outputs with both XLR and RCA connectors, supporting balanced and single-ended configurations. The unit features controls for left and right gain, main volume, input selection, and power on/off, all accessible via a remote control that also manages input selection, volume, and mute functions. The design emphasizes minimal distortion and high signal-to-noise ratio, with a frequency response from 15Hz to 85kHz (-0.5dB) and total harmonic distortion under 0.18%. It is recommended to be used with loads of 10k ohms or greater for balanced outputs and 5k ohms or greater for single-ended outputs.
