About the Sonja 1.3
The YG Acoustics Sonja 1.3 is the flagship model in the Sonja series, consisting of the Sonja 1.1 module interlocked atop dual matching bass modules, creating a large floorstanding speaker. It delivers exceptional sound quality with a usable frequency output extending from below 20 Hz to above 40 kHz, ±1 dB deviation in the audible band, and ±5° relative phase throughout the entire overlap. The speaker uses proprietary BilletCore ultra-high-rigidity woofers and mid-woofers, and a ForgeCore ultra-low-distortion tweeter. It features a fully passive design with a proprietary DualCoherent crossover at 65 Hz and 1.75 kHz, designed with in-house software, and ToroAir inductors to eliminate cross-talk. Sensitivity is 88 dB at 2.83 V/1 m, with a nominal impedance of 4Ω (minimum 3Ω). The Sonja 1.3 weighs 230 kg (506 lbs) per channel and measures 179 x 43 x 72 cm (70 x 17 x 28 inches).
