About the Yaqin MC-10L Tube
The Yaqin MC-10L is a push-pull stereo integrated vacuum tube amplifier delivering 52 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It uses 4 x EL34B tubes for the power stage and 4 x 6N1 tubes for the input and driver stages. The amplifier features ultra-linear output transformers made with Japanese silicon steel sheets and high-quality enameled wire, providing a wide dynamic range at full rated output. It includes four groups of gold-plated isolated RCA input jacks for CD, DVD, Tape, and Tuner, with a front-located selector switch. Output impedance options are 4Ω and 8Ω with gold-plated speaker terminals. The chassis is made of heavy-duty aluminum and steel with an acrylic front faceplate illuminated by a blue LED. The amp weighs approximately 17 kg and measures 470 x 310 x 180 mm. It operates on AC 110V, 60Hz power with a consumption of 220W. The sound character is described as smooth, crisp, and detailed with a pleasant low end, suitable for driving speakers like Magneplanar SMGa or Polk Audio LSi15s. The amplifier includes trim pots accessible from the top for bias adjustment of the power tubes. It is noted for a soundstage with good depth and stereo imaging, and a tonal balance that is warm and neutral without being overly forward.
