The Yamaha A-S1000 is a premium stereo integrated amplifier designed for audiophiles seeking natural, detailed sound with powerful output. It features a floating balanced power amplifier design that achieves symmetrical operation for superior sound quality and noise reduction. The amplifier delivers 90 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 140 watts into 4 ohms, with a frequency response from 5 Hz to 100 kHz and very low total harmonic distortion of 0.015%. It includes a fully discrete phono equalizer and MC head amp for high-quality vinyl playback. The unit has a robust, symmetrical chassis construction with a large power transformer and custom block capacitors, ensuring stable and clean power delivery. Additional features include bass and treble tone controls, selectable home theater bypass, subwoofer output, and a 1/4" headphone jack.
