About the mINT

The Wyred 4 Sound mINT (Mini Integrated Amplifier) is a compact, half-width Class D integrated amplifier combining a power amp, preamp, ESS Sabre 9023 DAC, and headphone amplifier in one chassis. Using Bang & Olufsen ICEpower modules, it delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 170 watts into 4 ohms, with low distortion and high efficiency. The built-in DAC accepts 24-bit/192 kHz signals via TosLink and coaxial S/PDIF, and 24-bit/96 kHz via asynchronous USB, enabling high-resolution playback without special drivers. Two analog RCA inputs and three digital inputs (USB, TosLink, coaxial) cover most system needs, while two pairs of RCA outputs (fixed and variable) allow use with subwoofers, external amplifiers, or secondary systems, and support home-theater bypass. A true resistive-ladder volume control provides linear level adjustment with excellent channel matching. The headphone amplifier section has its own dedicated power supply, delivering 720 mW into 32 ohms and 132 mW into 300 ohms. The mINT has a compact 8-inch wide by 3.5-inch high by 8-inch deep chassis weighing about 9 lbs, designed and built in California. It includes a 12V trigger input and output for system integration, a fully featured remote control, and a 5-year warranty.
