About the STI-500 v2

The Wyred 4 Sound STI-500 v2 is part of the STI-v2 integrated amplifier series and delivers 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 430 watts per channel into 4 ohms at 0.2% THD+N. It combines a reference-quality analog preamp with two mono power amplifiers in a single chassis, using ICEpower ASX2 module topology for high efficiency and low noise. Core features include a vacuum fluorescent display, optical rotary encoder for volume and power, and a fully featured remote control. It provides home theater bypass assignable to any input, a 12V DC trigger input for automatic HT bypass activation, and a 12V trigger output for system integration. Connectivity includes four gold-plated RCA inputs, one Neutrik XLR balanced input, an RCA pre-out for bi-amping or subwoofer use, and unbalanced-to-balanced conversion when RCA inputs are selected. The design is differential and fully balanced, with true resistive-ladder volume control, balance control, absolute phase switching, very low idle power consumption, and rugged construction with a half-inch machined anodized front panel. The chassis measures 17 inches wide by 4 inches high by 14.5 inches deep.
