The Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2 DSD is a state-of-the-art digital-to-analog converter featuring the ESS 9018 Reference Audio 32-bit Saber DAC chip with built-in jitter reduction and oversampling. It supports asynchronous USB input with galvanic isolation, handling PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD formats including DSD64 and DSD128. The DAC-2 DSD includes premium components such as custom Vishay Z-Foil resistors, a Femto Grade Clock with 82 femtosecond phase jitter, ultra-low noise discrete regulators, ultra-fast recovery Schottky diodes, and rhodium-plated Furutech fuses. It offers a fully balanced design with multiple digital inputs (USB, two S/PDIF RCA, two Toslink, AES/EBU) and HT bypass connections. The unit achieves a signal-to-noise ratio better than -115 dB and linearity within ±0.075 dB, ensuring extremely low noise and distortion for high resolution and linear audio reproduction.
