The Woo Audio ES8 is a fully-balanced vacuum-tube electrostatic headphone amplifier that also functions as a preamplifier. It uses four EL84 power tubes wired in triode and four 8532 JAN driver tubes, with a push-pull direct-drive, Class-A topology and custom output transformers. The amplifier is compatible with PRO-bias (580 V) electrostatic headphones from brands including STAX, Audeze, HiFiMan, and Dan Clark Audio. It is designed and assembled in New York, USA, and features a machined all-aluminum chassis with black or silver anodized finish.
