About the Uni-Term

Wireworld Uni-Term is an innovative interchangeable termination system designed for speaker cables that allows users to easily swap between spade and banana plug connectors as their audio system evolves. The system features premium materials including silver-clad OFC (oxygen-free copper) or silver+gold plated OFC construction. All Wireworld speaker cables come standard with Uni-Term connectors (except Horizon model). The spades are universal fitting for both 6.3mm (1/4") and 9mm amplifier posts. The complete connector package includes the socket, set screw, and either spade or banana plug. Exchange parts are available separately, allowing users to convert between connector types without replacing entire cables. The plugs are engineered with DuPont Delrin insulators and proprietary construction methods to minimize signal loss and provide cleaner audio reproduction compared to standard connectors.
