About the Subsonic

The Wilson Audio Subsonic is the fraternal twin of the WAMM Master Subsonic, sharing the same subwoofer drivers and internal volume but with standard Wilson Audio main line metal finishes instead of the prismatic finish. It uses proprietary HDF internal bracing material, similar to the Thor’s Hammer subwoofer. Ideal for pairing with Wilson’s medium or larger floorstanding loudspeakers like the Alexx V or Chronosonic XVX, it can be used as a single mono unit or stereo pair, delivering superior performance in the 10-30 Hz range, only surpassed by the WAMM Master Subsonic. Available in standard finishes such as Galaxy Gray, GT Silver, Quartz, and Carbon, with upgraded and Pearl options. It is a front-ported, three-driver passive subwoofer emphasizing volume for the lowest octaves.
