About the WATT 7

The Wilson Audio WATT/Puppy Series 7 is a two-section, three-way loudspeaker system comprising the compact WATT upper module and the Puppy bass module. The WATT uses a 1-inch titanium-foil inverted-dome tweeter and a 7-inch midrange driver; the Puppy uses two 8-inch woofers. The crossover points are approximately 125 Hz and 2 kHz. The system has a nominal 4-ohm impedance, 92 dB sensitivity (2.83 V at 1 meter), a rated frequency response of 21 Hz–21 kHz (+0/−3 dB), and a minimum recommended amplifier power of 7 watts per channel. Each complete speaker measures approximately 40.25 inches high, 12.25 inches wide, and 18.5 inches deep; the WATT and Puppy sections weigh approximately 65 and 105 pounds, respectively. The WATT 7 is therefore the upper section of the WATT/Puppy 7 system rather than a conventional bookshelf loudspeaker. It was offered in Wilson Audio’s painted cabinet finishes.
