Released in 2007 and retired in 2014, the WATCH Surround Series 2 is a wall-mount surround speaker that features a 50% increase in internal volume compared to its predecessor, resulting in significantly greater dynamic range and nearly an octave more bass extension. It includes a 6-inch midrange/woofer and a 1-inch inverted titanium dome tweeter. The redesigned wall mount improves acoustic decoupling from the wall and allows for greater tilt and rotation for optimal placement. Although primarily designed for surround sound, its full-range response and dynamics make it suitable as a front channel speaker in smaller home theater setups or as an alternative to in-wall speakers, which often compromise sound quality. The speaker has an impedance of 8 ohms, sensitivity of 89 dB, and a frequency response from 40 Hz to 22 kHz. Dimensions are approximately 25 3/16 inches in height (with spike), 1 9/16 inches depth with grille (unmounted), and 12 3/8 inches depth when mounted.
