About the ActivXO Crossover

Wilson Audio's ActivXO is a two-channel, fully analogue subwoofer crossover and controller designed to integrate Wilson (and other) subwoofers with main loudspeakers in both dedicated music and home theater systems. It provides independent control of high-pass and low-pass crossover frequency and slope (30-150 Hz; high-pass selectable 6 or 12 dB/octave, low-pass selectable 12 or 18 dB/octave), plus a continuously variable 0-180° phase control for precise time and phase alignment between mains and subs. The ActivXO accepts both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) inputs, and offers high-pass stereo outputs plus low-pass outputs that can feed one or a stereo pair of subwoofers, making it suitable for complex or multi-sub installations. As an all-analog design with no digital signal processing, it reflects Wilson Audio's purist approach, focusing on transparency and minimal signal degradation while serving as the central bass-management hub in hybrid music/cinema setups. Built to Wilson Audio's usual high construction standards, it replaces the earlier WATCH Controller and is supplied as standard with the WAMM Master Chronosonic, while remaining compatible with any Wilson subwoofer system.
