The Wharfedale Diamond 225 is a bass-reflex, two-way bookshelf loudspeaker designed for high-quality audio performance at an accessible price point. It features a 1" fabric soft-dome tweeter with an advanced ferrite magnet system and a 6.5" woven Kevlar cone woofer with a unique diamond-pattern rubber surround. The crossover frequency is 2.3 kHz, ensuring a smooth transition between drivers. The cabinet is constructed from a combination of particleboard and MDF to minimize resonance and coloration, resulting in clear, uncolored sound.
