About the WTA Black Arm

The WTA Black Arm is an upgraded version of the original Well Tempered Arm, designed to improve mechanical stability and sound quality. It features a thicker aluminum arm tube instead of stainless steel, a new headshell with two mounting holes for a more secure cartridge connection, and a single large stainless-steel counterweight. The arm tube is filled with damping sand to reduce resonance. Wiring has been updated, and the terminal block includes higher-quality RCA jacks. The arm floats in a silicone bath suspension system that dampens resonance and provides stable anti-skating through its seesaw design. The Black Arm is noted for delivering a fuller, deeper, and more dynamic bass response, enhancing the overall tonal weight and musicality compared to the original arm. It can be purchased separately or as an upgrade package for original WTA owners.
