The Walker Audio Extreme SST (Super Silver Treatment) Contact Enhancer is an advanced conductive treatment designed to improve electrical connections in HiFi audio and video systems. It contains ultra-pure, thin, long micron-sized silver flakes suspended in an organic fluid, chosen for their excellent dielectric characteristics and sound quality. This product is reported to enhance highs by making them more extended, cleaner, clearer, and better focused; improve mid-range transparency and articulation without harshness; tighten and strengthen bass; and create a more natural soundstage presence. It also benefits video systems by producing a cleaner, more three-dimensional picture. The kit includes enough product for multiple treatments and twelve applicators. It is highly recommended by renowned mastering engineer Stan Ricker, who uses it in his mastering system. The treatment must be applied carefully due to its high conductivity to avoid bridging hot and ground connections, which could damage equipment. It can be removed with alcohol or contact cleaner if needed.
