The Wadia di122 is a compact digital audio decoder/DAC with digital preamplifier and headphone amplifier functions. It supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz via USB, including DXD 352.8 kHz and 384 kHz, and decodes DSD64 and DSD128 over its USB Type-B input, while its two coaxial and two optical S/PDIF inputs accept PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz. It provides variable analog outputs on both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA, with a digitally controlled volume stage, allowing it to act as a system's main digital preamp feeding either power amplifiers or active speakers.
