The VTL TP-2.5i phono preamplifier is a completely redesigned model trickled down from the flagship TP-6.5, offering dramatic improvements in speed, delicacy, nuance, and drive at a tremendous value for high-resolution analog systems. It supports both MM and MC cartridges with separate inputs, low-noise hybrid JFET/tube active MC stage, pure tube MM stage, user-switchable MC resistive loading (100Ω, 250Ω, 470Ω, 1kΩ, 4.7kΩ, 47kΩ), selectable gain settings, buffered output, rumble filter (-3dB at 10Hz), mono function, and front-panel controls for power, rumble/mono, and mute.
