The Voxativ 9.87 System with AC-4D driver is a modular, semi-active two-way loudspeaker system consisting of a passive Pi Monitor mounted above an active Pi-Bass module. The upper enclosure uses Voxativ’s AC-4D high-efficiency full-range driver in a folded/back-loaded horn configuration, intended to reproduce the majority of the audible range without a conventional midrange or tweeter crossover. The lower module uses a dipolar RiPol-style bass enclosure with two opposing neodymium woofers and an integrated 250 W Class AB amplifier. The Pi-Bass includes adjustable crossover, gain/EQ and phase controls; the recommended crossover point is approximately 120 Hz.
