The Von Gaylord Audio Uni Earth mono amplifiers are two-piece monoblocks designed with a utilitarian aesthetic and finished in black ash. Each amplifier produces 180 watts of output power using two matched pairs of KT-120 vacuum tubes and 6SN7 driver tubes, operating in a triode push-pull Class A/B mode. The power supply and transformer are housed separately in the rear quarter of the chassis, equipped with high-spec oil-filled capacitors and point-to-point soldering using Von Gaylord's Legend Audio silver wire for both power supply and signal paths. The rear panel includes three WBT binding posts (neutral, 8 ohm, and 4 ohm taps), a single unbalanced RCA input, a toggle power switch, IEC AC plug, 15-amp fuse holder, and a knob for tube balance and output control. The design emphasizes efficient tube operation, allowing tubes to run cooler and extend their life expectancy to 5–8 years. Von Gaylord Audio provides a one-year warranty on tubes. The Uni Earth amps are praised for their tonal qualities combining the warmth of KT-90 tubes and the tone of 6550 tubes, delivering a lively and balanced sound signature suitable for high-end audio systems.
