The VMPS SuperTower IIa/R SE is a 6-way floorstanding loudspeaker system known for its exceptional bass extension below 30Hz, low distortion, and high bass power handling. Each speaker includes a combination of drivers: one 15" polypropylene-cone subwoofer with a 15" passive radiator, one 12" polypropylene-cone low-bass driver, two 12" polypropylene-cone midbass drivers, four 5" polypropylene-cone midrange drivers, four 1" inverted-dome tweeters, and one ribbon supertweeter. The crossover frequencies are set at 80Hz, 200Hz, 600Hz, 5kHz, and 15kHz, providing a frequency response range from 17Hz to 30kHz. Sensitivity is rated at 100dB with a maximum undistorted output of 130dB and a total harmonic distortion of 0.25% at 1W. The impedance is 6 ohms. The speakers stand 76 inches tall, 17 inches wide, and 21.5 inches deep, weighing approximately 230 lbs each.
