About the Numerico CD Player/DAC

The Viva Audio Numerico is a high-end Italian CD player/DAC combining a front-loading CD transport with a tube-based digital-to-analog conversion and analog output stage. It can operate as a complete CD player, as a standalone CD transport, or as an external DAC through USB, coaxial, and optical digital inputs. The chassis is solid aluminum for mechanical stability and vibration control; Viva specifies hand-soldered internal wiring using high-purity, natural-silk-insulated copper litz wire. Its analog section uses a short signal-path topology and selected custom output transformers. Note: available technical documentation for this original integrated CD Player/DAC is limited. The current Viva Audio Numerico DAC is a separate, DAC-only model with materially different published specifications.
