About the F1 Phono

The Viva Audio F1 is a single-chassis, stereo, all-triode moving-coil phono preamplifier with an integrated power supply. Its circuit uses two active tube stages, real point-to-point wiring, a short signal path, a custom output transformer, and a non-magnetic aluminum chassis. Designed primarily for low-output MC cartridges, it provides 60 dB of MC gain and uses two 12AX7 and two 6C45P tubes. Independent testing measured approximately 59.2 dB gain, a 56.2 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio at 0.5 mV input, and 0.23% distortion at 0.5 mV input.
