The Rigid Float CB 13" is part of ViV Laboratory's innovative tonearm series, known for its unique oil-floated pivot mechanism, which minimizes vibration and friction. This design ensures high sound purity with dynamics and low distortion. The tonearm is free-standing, eliminating the need for physical attachment to the turntable, thus reducing vibration transfer. It uses zero-offset geometry, which, although increasing tracking error at the record's start, provides better sound quality by eliminating bias forces and the need for anti-skating mechanisms. The arm is available in a carbon fiber version and comes with the "Nelson Hold" headshell, which enhances cartridge stability.
