About the LIO DHT Module

The Vinnie Rossi LIO DHT module is an optional tube linestage upgrade for the LIO modular integrated amplifier system. It features a discrete Class A JFET gain stage with zero feedback and a passive RIAA filter between two Class A JFET gain stages, designed to preserve the finest textural and nuanced differences between various tube types and brands, including 300B tubes. The module supports a wide range of directly heated triode (DHT) tubes such as 6922/E88CC, 6DJ8/ECC88, 7308/E188CC, 7DJ8/PCC88, 6N23, 6H23, 6N11, and 6GM8. It offers unity gain (0 dB) with a frequency response of 10Hz to 110kHz (+/-0.5dB) and an output impedance under 200 ohms. The module is noted for its transparency, refined sound, and ability to handle complex musical passages with ease and finesse. It is considered the sweet spot upgrade for the LIO system, costing approximately . The LIO system itself is a modular integrated amplifier with a Class AB MOSFET power amplifier delivering 25Wpc into 8 ohms, and the DHT module replaces the solid-state linestage with a tube-based one for enhanced musicality and tonal richness.
