About the LIO DHT Module
The Vinnie Rossi LIO DHT Module is a directly heated triode (DHT) preamplifier module for the modular LIO system. It uses a true Class A, output-transformerless design with super-regulated tube filaments and is intended to replace the LIO’s solid-state preamplifier/linestage section. Compatible tube families include 2A3, 45, 300B, PX4/PX25, 101D/205D, and SV811/SV575, subject to the module’s physical and electrical requirements. The DHT stage is designed for tube rolling and offers the tonal and dynamic characteristics associated with directly heated triodes; it is not a 6922/6DJ8-based linestage. The LIO’s separate power-amplifier module provides up to 25 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
