About the DHT LIO, Amp, 2.0
The Vinnie Rossi DHT LIO is a modular integrated audio system designed for audiophiles seeking ultimate versatility and sound quality. The base LIO chassis includes an ultracapacitor power supply (PURE DC-4-EVR), a solid aluminum remote, and a high-quality aluminum case with Corian panels. It supports multiple modules including a Class-A directly heated triode (DHT) preamplifier, a MOSFET power amplifier module delivering 25Wpc into 8 ohms, and a DAC 2.0 module featuring dual AKM AK44497EQ chips for dual-mono operation. The DAC 2.0 supports PCM up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD512, with a fully discrete output stage using pure Class A JFETs and no op-amps, plus selectable filter modes. The system also offers a phono stage, tubestage, and headphone amplifier modules, all with dedicated linear voltage regulation and ultra-low noise power supplies. The LIO's modular design allows easy upgrades and customization, making it a highly flexible and future-proof high-fidelity solution. The DHT preamplifier supports various tube types and features a discrete 64-step resistor ladder volume control with silent relays. The entire system is engineered to minimize noise and distortion, with a focus on musicality and sonic purity.
